Since 1973 the Kiwanis Club of Poway, CA has been helping local children and having a good time doing it! We're known as the club that gets things done. Our 55+ members meet each Thursday for breakfast in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Frankly, we're a bit non-traditional and proud of it!
Our service projects range from cooking meals for young cancer patients and burn victims to providing holiday gifts for needy preschoolers and scholarships to high school seniors. We work closely with Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA and the San Pasqual Academy, the country's only residential high school for foster teens.
We also help Poway children learn the value of community service through our sponsorships of the K-Kids Club at Painted Rock Elementary School, the Builders Club at Twin Peaks Middle School and the Key Club at Poway High School.
Check out 'Kiwanis News' on the right side of this page for the latest updates on our club.

Club meetings are held every Thursday from 7 to 8 a.m. at the Hamburger Factory, 14122 Midland Road (Old Poway Park) in Poway. An interesting speaker will discuss current topics of interest to the community. For a current list, click on "Meetings" on the left side of this page.
